They are going into a wood firing today and tomorrow i will take a 6hr shift or so to help out.

Here are some photos of my work that came out of the inaugural firing of John Thies's Salt Wood Manabigama! They look beautiful and can't wait to see them.

So my first incarnation of Backhoe bucket Ladles. There are more and will be wood fired in a few days and when they are done I will post photos with the handles! There is another project that will be done in a few days also that has caught my interest also.

Just started some smaller pieces that will be fired in a wood kiln in Minneapolis! They have to be done by Monday to go into the kiln, then some metal work has to be done. Excitement.

Future kickstarter project is underway! That's all i will say now about it but I will post a link if it gets taken up by kickstarter. Lets hope it does...or i will have to delay the project until i have the funds.

Found a photo of my wood fired test transformed into spoon rest. This may still be found at the Coffee Co in Grand Forks, ND

Was looking through images that i haven't seen in a while and 2 that stood out for whatever reason are photos of food on my work. There is something about them...and mind you i was pretty broke so these were my meals...I might put some more up later.
